From LOUDPACK snapbacks to Flannels, to HeaTHCare hoodies, all these pieces are really tight to me. The best thing about FRONTYARD FUNK is that they are exactly what they want to be. They aren’t following any of the stupid trends you see today in “streetwear”, Nast is seriously just a kid out in the mountains of California blowing on a massive amount of loud.

Odd Future – Dallas – 12/06/12

If you were there then you know, and if you weren’t then you missed out on one hell of a night. Odd Future played the best show I’ve ever been too. A few words to describe the night; mosh pits, 12 year olds getting socked out, elbowing people’s faces hard AF, girls passing out and almost dying, fat kids getting pulled out of the pit and over-all anarchy. One thing I didn’t like at all though was that every kid had their cellphone out the entire show and at one point I think when they played 50 or something I made a point out of running around and knocking kids phones out of their hands. Sorry the photo’s don’t do the show much justice but I didn’t want to bring my digital setup in fear of it getting destroyed. I can say though without a doubt my clique were the most turnt up in the crowd, I’m bruised up and left with blood on my knuckles and elbows. TURN UP.

Okay, now for the most part I do not fuck with my local music scene. Every kid in Dallas, Texas thinks they’re a rapper, producer, promoter or some sort of local celebrity, with the exception of Alex Harris. I’ve known of this kid for years now, and the kid can seriously rap. I’m not talking about just spitting random lyrics that rhythm over some shitty trap drum kit, the boy seriously puts together conceptual songs and paints a vivid picture with his lines. I remember I was at this going-away party for a friend and being considerably faded when he showed me a snippet of his and I was blown away. I can’t really attribute his style to anyone but I’m going to say he’s the Texas equilivalent of Joey BadA$$. This tape is really good, and I co-sign it for sure. – Denis McInerny

Sometimes the internet births a collab so perfect, so harmonious, and so #rare that you have no other choice but to watch in amazement. I introduce to you World Meet Kanye, one of the best tumblrs out there in the game right now (second only to Rappers and Animals). This blog is basically what it sounds like, screenshots from Boy Meets World with Kanye lyrics. If you’re anything like me, you must remember being a TV-addicted preteen, hoping for the days when you could grow up and get a girlfriend like Topanga and drive around in a killer convertible with the theme song of Boy Meets World blasting out of the stereo. Anyways, there’s not much more I can say other than this is why I love the internet, I’m about to cry right now, and I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do.
